What is Child Care Subsidy CCS

Pebbles only for Website Design.png

The Child Care Subsidy is a Government payment that reduces families out-of-pocket costs for childcare.

Each Families CCS covers a percentage of their daily fees and is paid directly to us and passed onto our families as a fee reduction on their statement.  Families then pay the gap fee between the daily fee charged and the CCS payment.

If you are new to childcare, it is recommended that you apply for CCS as soon as possible.

When your child is going to be absent from childcare, you will need to let us know so that we can accurately record the absence and you are paid your CCS.  You can get up to 42 allowable absence days per child each financial year.  If you reach your allowable absence limit, you may get additional absences by providing a Certificate from your Medical Practitioner.
